Editorial Intern
This is a paid internship opportunity with a pathway to regular employment. We particularly welcome applications from women returning to the workforce and former civil services aspirants seeking to build a career in public policy.
What You Will Do
Review, edit, and refine policy, research, and commentary content
Translate dense academic or policy material into clear, accessible formats for wider audiences
Support outreach and dissemination by drafting blurbs, straplines, and social media copy for published content
You Are Someone Who
Reads deeply and writes with clarity and precision
Understands content synthesis—distilling key arguments from complex texts without oversimplifying
Is curious about society, governance, and public policy
Is comfortable engaging with academics, policymakers, and practitioners
Has basic digital and collaborative skills (documents, shared workflows, editorial feedback)
How to Apply
Select a research paper or policy article of your choice
Rewrite it into a clear, accessible piece for a general reader (maximum 500 words)
