Dr. Suneeta (Dhingra) Mukherjee

Dr. Suneeta (Dhingra) Mukherjee

Dr. Suneeta (Dhingra) Mukherjee is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and former International Civil Servant (ICS) with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). In India, she held a range of leadership positions: after serving as Deputy Joint Secretary (Personnel), she became the first woman Deputy Commissioner of Himachal Pradesh. She also served as Deputy Director (Administration) at PGI Chandigarh and later at AIIMS, New Delhi; as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare; Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation; and Commissioner-cum-Secretary in the Government of Himachal Pradesh. As part of the ICS, Dr. Mukherjee served as the UNFPA Country Representative in Sri Lanka and Maldives, Bangladesh, and the Philippines, where she championed maternal health, reproductive rights, adolescent health, gender equity and prevention of HIV/AIDS. She is also a TEDx speaker, author, and life coach, dedicated to helping individuals, especially young people, achieve personal and professional transformation.

Dr. Badri Narayanan Gopalakrishnan

Dr. Badri Narayanan Gopalakrishnan

Dr. Badri Narayanan Gopalakrishnan is a Fellow at NITI Aayog and a leading economist specialising in international trade, technology, and policy modelling. He also serves as Affiliate Faculty with Boston College, Oregon State University, and the University of Washington, and is Co-Founder of Infinite Sum Modelling LLC, a global analytics and policy consulting firm. Dr. Gopalakrishnan has authored over 250 papers and several books on trade, environment, and public-health policy. He has advised governments, multilateral institutions, and corporations worldwide on evidence-based economic decision-making.

Santosh Kumar Sahu

Dr. Santosh Kumar Sahu

Dr. Santosh Kumar Sahu is an Associate Professor of Economics at IIT Madras, specialising in sustainability transitions, energy economics, industrial ecology, and applied development economics. Earlier, he served on the faculty of the Madras School of Economics, Chennai, and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV). He holds a PhD, MPhil, and Master’s degree in Economics. Dr. Sahu has received several distinctions, including the Trend Setters Grant Award, the Australia Awards India Fellowship, and the Prof. Raghuram Rajan Young Scholar Grant Award. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and is also on the editorial boards of Environmental Quality Management, the Journal of Public Affairs, SN Business and Economics, and Academics Stand Against Poverty.

Mr.  Abhishek Kumar

Mr. Abhishek Kumar

Mr. Abhishek Kumar is the Founding Partner of Indicc Associates, Jaipur, which is a non-partisan public-interest policy firm working at the intersection of citizen and consumer advocacy, regulatory reform, and development policy. Before founding Indicc, he held senior positions, including Director at CUTS International, Consultant with the Digital Empowerment Foundation and EY, and Senior News Editor at CNN-IBN. He holds a Master’s degree in Media, Peace, and Conflict Studies and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). His interests span consumer-centric regulatory reform, digital inclusion, skills and livelihoods, and the integration of grassroots stakeholder networks into national policymaking. Mr. Kumar has three edited book volumes, authored many book chapters, opinion pieces for mainstream media, and has produced over 50 documentaries on development issues in India. He also curates three citizen-focused initiatives: the New Indian Consumer Initiative, the Citizen 21 Initiative, and the Indicc Initiative on Technology for Human Development.

Sangeeta Bansal

Dr. Sangeeta Bansal

Dr. Sangeeta Bansal is a Professor of Economics at the Centre for the Study of the World Economy, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Her work spans environment and energy economics, economic development, climate change, and health economics, and she has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. She serves on the editorial boards of Agricultural Economics, Resource and Energy Economics, and several other leading journals, and has received distinguished fellowships including the Fulbright-Nehru Research Fellowship and the Levenick Resident Scholarship. Dr. Bansal has also consulted for national and international institutions such as IFPRI, SANDEE, ICSSR, and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. She holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Economics.

Dr. Ankush Agarwal

Dr. Ankush Agarwal

Dr. Ankush Agarwal is a Professor of Economics at IIT Delhi, specialising in development economics, inequality, public data systems, and the political economy of welfare, with a particular emphasis on India’s rural and demographic transformations. Earlier, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), Delhi. He holds a PhD in Economics and a bachelor's degree in engineering. Dr. Agarwal is the author of Numbers in India’s Periphery: The Political Economy of India’s Government Statistics (Cambridge University Press), and has published widely in academic journals and leading media outlets.

Dr. Ashish Singh

Dr. Ashish Singh

Dr. Ashish Singh is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay, where his work spans development economics, public health, discrimination, and labour markets. Prior to joining IIT Bombay, he served as a Senior Lecturer at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. He holds a PhD in Economics, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Dr. Singh has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has collaborated with government agencies, NGOs, and international organisations on research related to public service delivery, health systems, and vulnerable populations. He also serves on the editorial boards of PLOS Global Public Health, the International Journal for Equity in Health, and the Archives of Public Health.

Dr. Nitika Bagaria

Dr. Nitika Bagaria

Dr. Nitika Bagaria is a Senior Principal at Keystone Europe, London, where she leads teams on competition, merger control, and regulatory investigations across the UK, Europe, and the EMEA region. Before joining Keystone, she spent nearly a decade with Charles River Associates, advising on cases involving abuse of dominance and cartel litigation before European and national competition authorities. Dr. Bagaria holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MA in Economics from Columbia University. Her research has appeared in the Economic Journal and Competition Policy International, and she has taught postgraduate econometrics at the London Business School. Her professional interests span competition economics, antitrust, and digital-market regulation, combining analytical depth with practical policy relevance.
